1947 French thriller that's all Parisian and music hall atmosphere. In English Quay of the Goldsmiths. Directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot from a novel by Stanislas-Andre Steeman. Story of jealous husband ((Bernard Blier) accused of murdering the man he suspected of seducing his wife. Suzy Delair is wonderful as the talented and ambitious singer who is driving her husband/accompanist crazy.
